DeKita Moon Rembert is an Intel GEM Fellow and a Ph.D. candidate in Human-Centered Computing at the University of Florida. She is also a Research Assistant in the Culturally-Relevant Computing Lab at Morehouse College. DeKita’s dissertation research focuses on interaction design, personalization education technologies, and natural language processing. Her research interests include data science and visualization, especially for social media data analytics. She received her Bachelors from the Fort Valley State University in Computing Information Systems. She enjoys playing the drums and traveling.
