Dr. Nwokedi Idika is a Senior Software Engineer and a Privacy and Data Protection Lead within YouTube. Before joining YouTube, he was an engineer within Google’s Privacy and Data Protection Office. Prior to Google, he was a researcher at Shape Security (an enterprise-security startup) and MIT Lincoln Lab. He earned his Ph.D. and Master’s in Computer Science with a research focus in Security Metrics from Purdue University. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
