Marie Jarrell is a PhD student in the Human-Centered Computing Division of the School of Computing at Clemson University. Their research covers a variety of topics including game design, virtual interaction, mere-exposure, immersion, and virtual simulations. Marie is a member of the Human and Technology Laboratory or HATLab at Clemson University. Prior to joining said lab they obtained their M.A. in Digital Production Arts from Clemson University and their B.A. in Graphic Design from Hampton University. To this day Marie maintains a healthy love for various artistic creation, consumption, and critique.
