Whitney Nelson is a full GEM fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology obtaining her master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction. She received her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hampton University with a minor Nanoscience where she was a NanoHU scholar. Over the years she has had several internships and research experiences including National Center for Atmospheric Research, Carnegie Melon University, Huntington Ingall’s Inc., Visa Inc, Morehouse College, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Whitney produces also had several leadership experiences including program fellow of Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and co-president of ACM at Hampton University. After graduation, Whitney plans to start a career in product management.
