IAAMCS will participate in conferences and workshops each year,  in order to learn about emerging issues (and solutions), disseminate findings from the core research projects, share IAAMCS resources with other vendors (schools and companies), market the organization to potential members, educate attendees on best practices, discover opportunities/ mentors that can be shared with IAAMCS members, recruit undergraduate students, and participate in conference & workshop activities. 2 PI’s will travel to each event. Current students, industry and local mentors will be invited to participate, even if they are not directly affiliated with the event. A series of networking receptions will be held at multiple conferences and workshops to further accomplish the goals above.
